CRC Smartprint Report 02
The Cooperative Research Centre initiative was an enterprise formed by a coalition of Government, Business and Educational Institutions. Each CRC had a 7 year lifespan, with a charter to explore and develop new ideas and techniques in their specific fields. In this instance: innovative and improved print technologies and techniques, both from an (ink, pigment, adhesive, etc) application and substrate (paper, plastics, metals, anything) aspect.
This first year's (02) focus was on new and traditional print embellishments and enhancements, in particular on new thermochromic (heat activated) inks.
